FARGO (KFGO-AM -- Microsoft has launched an initiative to bring a new learning tool to each North Dakota school district.
Microsoft Office 365 will help K-12 students and teachers by enhancing learning and getting students more tech-savvy for the real world by allowing them to create presentations and work with other students online.
Governor Jack Dalrymple was in Fargo for the launch. He says, "It involves opportunity for actual educational opportunity in the future and students being able to learn about science technology, mathematics through entertaining and stimulating forms of education."
Districts plan to receive the Office 365 as soon as possible.
The technology is given to schools at no cost.
