Fargo, N.D. (AP) Investigators in the case of a man charged in a North Dakota drug conspiracy say they seized more than 30 firearms from the suspect's house.

Randy Skarda, of Keene, has pleaded not guilty in federal court to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, distribution of meth, distribution of cocaine, possession of a short-barreled rifle, and possession of a firearm by a drug user.

An affidavit filed last week outlines new details in the case. In addition to the guns, agents say a search of Skarda's property uncovered meth, cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a device called a whizzinator, which is meant to alter urine samples.

Skarda is one of about 70 people charged in an investigation dubbed "operation winter's end.''

Defense attorney Kevin Chapman was not immediately available for comment.
