FARGO (KFGO-AM) - A lot more guns will be given away during this year's annual West Fargo Hockey Association gun raffle. Organizers are planning to sell 6,000 raffle tickets and give away 300 rifles, shotguns and handguns.
Organizer Cal Helgeson says people from at least 16 states have indicated they want to purchase tickets for the raffle. The odds of winning for each ticket are 1-in-20.
Last year, the raffle got national attention because the country was in the middle of a gun control debate following school shootings in Newtown, CT.
This year's raffle and banquet is April 19th at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
