MOORHEAD (KFGO-AM) -- Dust off those chimney sweeps, Mary Poppins is coming to Trollwood.
The performing arts school made the announcement today on its Facebook page with this promotional video.
The rights to the stage play of the famous Disney musical became available just recently.
Auditions for Mary Poppins start in February.
The curtain will rise on July 15th with Wednesday through Saturday performances, wrapping up August 1st.
Executive Director Kathy Anderson says, "There's a lot of magic in this show, there's a lot of illusion, there's going to be flying, we'll be flying some of our students, and so I think it's just going to have a lot of fun twists and turns."
Next year will mark the 37th season in Trollwood's history.
