FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A committtee doing an independent review of the Fargo Police Department plans to conduct an initial series of interviews with officers over the next two weeks.

Committee Chairman Brian Berg hopes to question about 30 people. He says that information will determine if the committee should focus on the department's disciplinary polices or expand their investigation. Others from outside the Police Department are also welcome to talk to the committee. Those interested should e-mail or phone the City Human Desources Department to schedule a time.

The City Commission called for the outside review following complaints about low morale and the management of Chief Keith Ternes. Ternes welcomes the interview and told the committee Friday it has "unfettered access" to the department.
