BISMARCK (KFGO-AM) -- Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has called for an independent review of SEMCA, the Southeast Multi-County Agency Drug Task Force based in Wahpeton.
The order comes after the disappearance and death of North Dakota State College of Science student Andrew Sadek. Sadek had been facing drug-related charges. His mother claims that SEMCA agents pressured him to work with the task force.
Sadek was last seen leaving his dorm in May. In June, Sadek's body was pulled from the Red River near Breckenridge, MN.
He died from a gunshot wound to the head.
