JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO-AM) -- No one was hurt and no one is in police custody following a report of a shooting north of Jamestown.
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser says deputies responded to a call at a farm southwest of Kensal late Thurs. morning. Kaiser says a man reported that he shot two intruders on his property. He says the man may be suffering from dementia. He was taken to the state hospital.
A special operations team also responded and the Border Patrol sent a helicopter from Grand Forks to the scene.
The school in Kensal was placed in lockdown as a precaution.
