ADA, MINN. (KFGO-AM) A farm worker was arrested after authorities say he allegedly threatened to kill a supervisor at an American Crystal beet piling station in Norman County.
Brandon Bryan, 39, is facing a half dozen charges including terrorizing, 2nd degree assault, disorderly conduct, and assault on a police officer.
Sheriff Jeremy Thornton says Bryan, a beet truck hauler, had been trespassed from the Ada West piler for an undisclosed incident Friday and was fired when his employer found out about it. Bryan then returned to the piling station and confronted an employee who reported the incident. Bryan also nearly struck several people with his vehicle. Deputies caught up to him a short time later at another piling station near Halstad where he was taken into custody. While handcuffed, Bryan kicked a deputy. The officer did not require medical treatment.
Bryan lists an address of South Sioux City, Nebraska. He's being held in the Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston.
