Bismarck, N.D. (AP) North Dakota continues to break records for airline boardings. North Dakota's eight commercial airports saw 103,504 passengers in august, an increase of almost 6 percent over total from the same month a year ago. Fargo led the way with 38,447 passengers, followed by Bismarck with 19,953, Minot with 18,104, Grand Forks with 10,566, Williston with 9,998, Dickinson with 5,731, Devils Lake with 374 and Jamestown with 331. North Dakota Aeronautics Commission Director Kyle Wanner says the continued addition of flights and new destinations show the demand for efficient transportation into and out of the state.

Williston began additional air service in August with United Airlines providing direct flights to Houston.
