GWINNER, ND (KFGO-AM) - A fire led to an early dismissal at North Sargent School in Gwinner, ND.
Superintendent Randall Cale says the fire broke out at around 2:30 pm Wednesday while crews were servicing a propane evaporator line.
“I had a crew that was in servicing (the tanks)”, Cale said. “They were having some issues of stopping the fire from the propane that was bleeding off the lines, so just to play it safe, I evacuated the building.”
Cale says the students were sent home about 20 minutes early. The fire never reached the building. No one was hurt.
