North Dakota is getting $200,000 in federal funding to help process DNA evidence at the state crime lab. The state's congressional delegation announced the funding from the U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday. The delegation says the funding is intended to help resolve pending crime cases involving DNA samples and help prevent backlogs.
