Minot, N.D. (AP) A North Dakota man has been sentenced to nearly three years in prison on drug and weapons charges. Jimmy Stewart Jr., of Minot, pleaded guilty earlier to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Authorities say Stewart and others distributed methamphetamine in North Dakota between May and November 2012. U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Stewart to 35 months in prison, with credit for time served. Stewart has felony convictions in California for robbery, burglary and intent to terrorize.
