FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- KFGO personality Sandy Buttweiler is leaving the station. Buttweiler, who's worked at "The Mighty 790" for a total of 29 years, announced her decision during "Live @ 5" Thursday afternoon.

Buttweiler, a Columbia Heights, Minnesota native, has been one half of the popular "Jack-n-Sandy" Show for more than 20 years. The show, which airs from 11am-2pm, Monday-Friday, has been consistently rated number-one in the Fargo-Moorhead radio market.

Buttweiler says she'll miss her co-workers and her listeners.

She was hired by former KFGO co-owner Dick Voight in 1992. She began her radio career in Buffalo, Minnesota and spent two years working at WCCO-AM in Minneapolis.
