PARK RAPIDS, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - Lightning is suspected of causing a fire that destroyed two connected restaurants in Dorset, Minn.
Firefighters were called to the Dorset House and Companero's Mexican Restaurant at around 4:45 Thursday morning. Park Rapids Fire Chief Don Hoffman says the buildings were fully engulfed when crews arrived.
Lightning is also suspected of starting a fire that destroyed five mobile homes in rural Park Rapids. No one was hurt.
The state fire marshal is investigating both fires.
