Fargo (KFGO-AM) -- Strong thunderstorms dropped heavy rain and hail across parts of our region. 1.3" of rain fell at our KFGO studios in south Fargo. 3.1" was reported in Oakport Township, north of Moorhead. Kindred and Leonard both saw 3" of rain. Oxbow received 4" of rain.
Hail as big as golf balls fell in the Barnesville area. New York Mills reports golf-ball sized hail, while large damaging hail was also reported in the city of Ottertail.
