FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Fargo's mayor is resting at home following radiation treatment for cancer. The city says Mayor Dennis Walaker has been undergoing treatment for renal cell carcinoma, the most common form of kidney cancer.
He experienced weakness following radiation treatment and was hospitalized. He has made significant improvement.
Walaker is expected to back at work within a week to 10 days.
