FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Some fans headed to the Katy Perry concert at the Fargodome Saturday night were shocked to learn that the tickets they bought were not authentic.
Fargodome General Manager Rob Sobolik says the bogus tickets were not purchased through a reputable seller. He says it should serve as a reminder that you should only buy tickets through the Fargodome's authorized ticket sellers, which are INFORUMTIX.COM, the Fargodome ticket office, or the Fargodome's website.
Sobolik says "If people do choose to go the route of a secondary seller like StubHub or Craigslist, it's unfortunate, but they can be defrauded out of their money.
Sobolik says there were still some tickets available at the gate, so if someone with a fake ticket wanted to buy a legitimate one, they could.
About 22,000 people attended the concert.
