FARGO (KFGO-AM) - The Transportation Security Administration plans to launch its pre-check program this October or November at Fargo's Hector International Airport.
Airport Authority Director Shawn Dobberstein says for those willing to pay the $85 application fee and are cleared, it means no more standing in long lines to board a flight.
He says the TSA is now training its employees. He says its easy to sign up by going to www.tsa.gov.
TSA Precheck accepts travelers who submit background information for pre-clearance.
People who are approved don't have to remove their shoes, belts, coats or unpack their laptop computers when going through the faster precheck lines.
