BISMARCK (KCND) - The North Dakota Board of Higher Education Budget and Finance Committee has recommended raises for North Dakota University presidents.
The committee rejected a proposal for a higher raise for NDSU President Dean Bresciani. Most campus presidents would see a 3 percent hike over the next two years.
Chancellor Larry Skogen had recommended a raise of more than 7 1/2 percent for Bresciani to reflect NDSU's high research ranking.
The president of Williston State would see a 5 percent increase because of the high cost of living in the oil patch.
The full board will review the recommendations next month.
