WILMINGTON, N.C. (KFGO-AM) - Two men are in custody charged with holding two runaway teenage sisters from West Fargo against their will.
The 15 & 16 year old girls were found in a hotel in Wilmington, North Carolina.
The girls told detectives they were being held against their will and forced to sell magazines for a Missouri company, getting paid only $20 a day. Sgt. Thomas Tilmoun says when the girls asked to leave, the suspects refused and told the girls they had to stay because of contracts they had signed.
Jeremy Dean Moots, 22, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Justin Angermeier, 28, of Cameron, Missouri were charged with human trafficking and kidnapping. Their bond has been set at $350,000 each.
