FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- The city of Fargo is waiting to hear whether the Ten Commandments monument will remain outside city hall.
The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of appeals will decide within the next month if the monument should be removed.
Red River Freethinkers have been trying to get it taken down for over a decade.
The group says it violates the separation between church and state.
The monument has stood outside city hall since 1961 when it was "gifted" to the city.
