FARGO (KFGO-AM) - The Fargo Police Department's heavy focus on a hot spot for recent car break-in's paid off in a big way, along with some hustle and the help of K-9 Falco.
Officers patroling on the Prairiewood Drive neighborhood around 12:30 p.m. thursday spotted a man pulling on car door handles. When they approached, he fled.
The dog tracked the supsect south to 32nd Avenue south and then west across I-29. the dog found the man hiding in a field near Thunder Road.
18-year old Jeff Saintal of Fargo was arrested for resisting a police officer. it took about two hours to apprehend Saintal. Police Sargent Tom Shaw says Saintal was "very tired."
