ARGUSVILLE (KFGO-AM) -- The National Weather Service will try to determine if it was a twister or straight line winds that caused damage to a home and farm buildings north of Fargo Saturday afternoon.
Rod Lisburg thinks it was a tornado that struck his parent's home a mile north of Argusville on Highway 81. He says there was a tremendous amount of damage. "It took the whole roof off a quonset and it collided into the house, damaging the roof". He says the rafters were thrown up in the trees and boards and tin were also tossed further than the length of a football field.
That storm passed through the area around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Greg Gust of the NWS says he hopes to get out to assess the damage.
