FARGO, N.D. (KFGO AM) -- It's election day today across North Dakota.
Voters in Fargo will decide a mayoral race.
City Commissioner Brad Wimmer is challenging incumbent Dennis Walaker.
There are also two open seats on the commission.
In West Fargo, residents will be asked if they want to raise the city sales tax to pay for infrastructure projects.
If passed, that tax would be the same as Fargo's, increasing from 6 1/2 percent to 7 1/2 percent.
Statewide, voters will decide Measure One, whether the filing deadline for submission of initiated measure petitions should be changed from 90 days to 120 days before an election.
Polls are open from 7:00 this morning until 8:00 tonight.
KFGO News will have return coverage live after polls close.
